Snehajyothi Charitable Society is registered under the Travancore Cochin Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955 dated on 24/09/2008 vide registration No ER- 56808. The registered office of the Society is at Pulluvazhy, Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district, Kerala.The main objective of the Society is to look after the children below 18 years, orphans, abandoned, surrendered and other who are in need of care and protection, basic amenities, good education, treatment and other needs of the inmates.Sr. Jisa is the President & founder of Snehajyothi Charitable Society. There are 7 members administrative Committee is formed to maintain the day to day activities of the Society. The members of the Governing Body were elected during the annual General Body meeting and renewing the society registration every year. The Managing Committee assigned the President to manage the day to day activities the society. The Managing Committee is holding regular meetings as stipulated in the Bye laws, charter programmes and give necessary advises from time to time for the smooth functioning of Snehajyothi Charitable Society.The first initiative of the Snehajyothi Charitable Society is Snehajyothi Sisubhavan was started on 02/10/2008.Now, 3 Child Care Institution (CCI) and 1 centre for women In Distress are functioning in Ernakulam district with the undertaking of Snehajyothi Charitable Society. All these institutions are maintaining very well and strictly follow the rules and regulations of the State and Central Governments. The major activities of the society is to manage these 4 institutions with periodical monitoring, providing necessary financial assistance for improving the condition of the inmates.
